McLAIN WARD’S WORLD CUP™ HORSE DISQUALIFIED FROM FINAL
Sapphire, the horse ridden by McLain Ward (USA), has been eliminated from the second round of the FEI World Cup™ Final last night (16 April) and disqualified from the rest of the event following a positive hypersensitivity test. The horse was selected for thermography testing on its legs yesterday and US Team Vet Dr Tim Ober was notified in the late afternoon that the horse would be tested at 7.30pm (CEST).
Triste l'annuncio che dà la FEI a proposito di un cavaliere di tale portata, che non è risulato positivo a somministrazione di sostanze endovenose, ma, probabilmnte di eccesso di sostanze locali, confermato alla termografia ed all'esame clinico di una commissione veterinaria.
Non so se McLain Ward riesce a presentare e vincere un ricorso, nel frattempo Mario Deslusiers passa a condurre la classifica e si riaprono tutti i giochi.
